Trails

Here is a list of some local bike trails we frequent.

Blankets Creek - Directions / Trail Map

Blankets has something for everyone, offering 3 loops.

  • Mosquito Flats (Beginner) 1 mile
  • Dwelling Loop (Intermediate) 3.5 miles
  • South Loop (Advanced) 4 miles

Dwelling and South Loops are directional based on the day of the week. Take caution on Mosquito flats as it is bi-directional and a learning trail for beginners and children. Because of its proximity to Atlanta this Trail can get busy on weekends. A new North Loop for advanced riders is set to open soon. More Info.

Iron Hills - Directions / Trail Map

A great beginner trail located in Red Top Mountain State Park along Lake Allatoona. This trail is designated for bikes and is mostly double track and is well maintained. Scenery is great as parts of the trail follow the contours of the lake.

The Silver Comet - Directions /Trail Map

A paved beginners trail built on an old railway bed. Long and straight, The Silver Comet is great for road training. Can get very busy on weekends in the Austell/Powder Springs area of the trail. Use caution as there are many joggers and children who also use this trail.

Cheatam Hills at Kennesaw Mountain - Directions / Trail Map

A beginner to intermediate trail, Cheatam Hills runs through the Kennesaw National Battlefield.
