History
So who are we? Well for short we are Steve, Scot, Ragan, and Mikey. Four regular guys who saw a need in our church, www.NorthMetro.org, and sought to do something about it. That need, an absence of ministry for the men of our church. It all started in the spring of 2007 when Steve and Ragan signed up for an Adventure Race. From that experience and the countless discussions that we have had in community group here we are. www.NoMARforHIM.org. Steve had the vision, Ragan had the organization, Scot brings the moral support, and I as the webmaster bring the geek factor.
So what are we? Well we are an adventure racing team, but first and foremost we are men of God. We believe in life change through the power of Jesus Christ. This ministry exists to empower men for the glory of God. That’s it.
This ministry is open to all men from all walks of life. Everyone is welcome to join us for any training event. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced adventure racer we would love for you to join us. While we do encourage everyone to sign up for a race as a goal it is not a requirement. So come mountain biking, trail running, conoeing, hiking, or camping with us. We would love to have you.
